Growth your Path

Growth in your path

Consider the following quote by Benjamin Franklin

“If you would not be forgotten

As soon as you are dead and rotten,

Either write things worth reading,

Or do things worth the writing.”

The quote emphasizes that you leave a mark in life.  That means your growth is not only for you, but it would also benefit those who come after you.

Doing what wasn’t inevitable

To get more fulfillment and purpose in what you do, ask yourself, is there someone else who would have done it instead of you?  There is value in doing something that is not going to happen without you.  When you want to do a thesis do not focus on what is interesting, but rather on what might be interesting but useful.

Scivive says that what the world is missing is desire.  People already know and know what should be done but they seldom do it because they lack desire and motivation. If you have the desire to do the hard things and make an impact in life, you are on your way to winning.

There is a quote that says fear not the man who knows a thousand techniques but one you know one technique very well.

As much as it is important to seek knowledge, Scivive emphasizes that you should seek only what is important and practice it. The same concept is applied when you want to achieve growth. What is the use of knowing many techniques you can’t use?

It is better to know only one, where you can excel and use it to make your life better

Focus on What Matters: Do not learn a skill that would not pay off. Do only what is useful to you and other people. The more things you try to be good at the less potential you have. Remember a jack of all trades is a master of none.

Do The Things You Are Cut Out for: If you have perfect pitch naturally then do music.

All Emotions Have A Reason: Whilst safety may be important, think of other human emotions as well. Additionally, take care of your emotions as it is important to feel good.

Everything matters in life and are all connected in one way or another. Never try to argue that nothing matters, however small it may be, it matters.
